Here is the opening of the Xbox 360 Elite box. The Xbox 360 Elite was released on April 29, 2007 at a starting price of 479.99 which has now dropped to 449.99. It is the third Xbox 360 variation and is considered to be the high end version of the Xbox 360. Xbox 360 Wired Headset (Black) 4. Xbox 360 120 GB hard drive (Black) 5. Xbox 360 Component/Composite Cables 6. HDMI cable (6 feet) 7. Xbox 360 Optical RCA Adapter (For connecting the audio to a stereo system if you are using HDMI) 8. Xbox 360 Power Brick and power cable 9. 2 AA Batteries (Usually Energizer) 10. Ethernet cable 11. Manuals and 1 year Warranty So basically there is a lot in the box. The only differences between the Elite and the original Xbox 360 consoles is that it is black, few of the accessories are black, it has a 120 GB drive instead of 20, and it is bundled with a HDMI cable which usually costs a lot if you were to buy it separately. ** Note, with the HDMI, the Xbox 360 only supports HDMI 1.2a which excludes the features of HD audio and higher video bandwidth which is found on HDMI 1.3. 6/2/2010, I got my xbox 360 elite about a month ago and before I had my white xbox 360 about 3 years ago. the white one gave the hd cable and the elite only gave the standerd. I now have the elite, would it give rrod or any other problem if I use the old white xbox hd cable on the new elite. or are they now making us buy them seperatly pls reply
