At Apple WWDC 2008, Steve Jobs reveals the iPhone 3G with faster download speeds, longer battery life, GPS, a lower price, and a near worldwide release on July 11.

    Why does Steven Jobs always wear the same sweater & jeans everytime ? He’s a billionaire. He should dress to look more ‘richer’ lol. He meant $199 US / month AT&T contract or other US phone companies right ? So it’s not exactly $199 US but in the thousands of $. That’s sooo not the price to buy it straight away !

    No doubt, All the additional features are fantastic, my only isssue is with the smaller screen size.

    Check Apple Australia website, they sell it without contract for 719 AUD, about 700 USD, even with contracts we have to pay extra for the phone. I’m not saying the phone worth or not, but Steve Jobs can say any thing to make more money.

    @MrJaspertheman definately not this year. apple releases only one new product a year, this year is ipad year. maybe next year…although theres not much that can be improved on the 3gs so i dunno if theres even a need
