iPhone 4S – Six Weeks Later Original iPhone 4S Review: youtu.be It seems like a long time ago already, but the iPhone 4S only launched a little over six weeks now. When we reviewed the device back in October, we felt it was one of the best smartphones on the market, although it wasn’t worth upgrading from the iPhone 4. Has our opinion changed? We still largely feel the same way. For us, the iPhone still offers one of the best experiences when it comes to hardware and software. The upgrades that came with iOS 5 (notifications, iMessage, Reminders, just to name a few) make the 4S one of the most intuitive, user-friendly experiences money can buy. Siri is a different story. Apple’s voice assistant was one of the iPhone 4S’s biggest selling points before it came out, and we were really excited to try it during the first two weeks. After awhile, though, the luster wore off, and we found ourselves forgetting Siri was even there. Experiences with Siri, of course, will differ from user to user.
