    You dont need a HDTV for ps3 games.
    But of course it will look alot better :D
    Just make sure you dont use those crappy black and white boxes they call tvs xD

    If you want a machine with a lot of great games, but annoying online douchebags and a 50/50 chance that your machine will go belly-up in 3 months, buy an X-Box 360.

    If you want a machine with a lot of great games, fantastic build quality, the best Blu-Ray capabilities on the market, and supreme versatility, buy a PS3.

    @ChicDrummerChic You don’t have to have an HDTV too play on a ps3, thats bullshit :P All games works totally fine on any TV with scart.

    I’m getting a ps3 slim this saturday and Grand Theft Auto 4 and Grand Theft Auto Episodes from Liberty City. The store said GTA 4 requires an HDTV. I didn’t know that. Our tv’s a samsung slim fit television a.k.a CS29Z40MQ. do you think it’ll work? =/ I didn’t know PlayStation 3 games require and HDTV. so, I’m confused if I should still get a PlayStation3.

    @509GAMER Hi. I’m not a fanboy and I was stuck like you. But I got a ps3 for christmas and it was the best thing I have ever done! Its just so much more powerful and is a lot more future-proof. Plus it offers the best value for money. I didnt think I’d use blu-ray but I was amazed at the quality. I would recommend a ps3. Hope that helps!

    I don’t think it’s bad. the ps3 slim has a large cooling fan. also slims are very hot on the top and bottom.
