iOS 4 / 4.0.1 / 4.0.2 Jailbreak & Unlock iphone 3g and Jailbreak iPod Touch 2nd gen (NON MC MODEL)

This video is on Jailbreak/Unlocking your iphone 3g and Jailbreaking iPod Touch 2nd gen (NON MC MODEL). You can check your iPod Model by going to settings on your ipod then general then About then look for Model. Itunes 9.2 is required to do all this. You will be using Redsnow 0.9.5 to jailbreak and Hacktivate your iphone 3g and/or iPod Touch 2nd generation. If you are on 4.0.1 firmware then simply point iOS 4 in redsnow to jailbreak your devices respectively. Download Redsnow 0.9.5 for Windows here : sites.google.com OR Download it here : www.megaupload.com Download Redsnow 0.9.5 for MAC here : sites.google.com OR Download it here : www.megaupload.com Download iOS 4.0 for iphone 3g here : www.megaupload.com Download iOS 4.0 for iPod Touch 2nd gen here : www.megaupload.com IMPORTANT 1: IF YOU HAVE AN IPHONE 3G USING AN UN-OFFICIAL SIM CARD (or No Sim Card at all) THEN AFTER UPDATING YOUR IPHONE FROM ITUNES TO iOS4 , YOU WILL SEE ITUNES LOGO AND USB LOGO ON YOUR IPHONE SCREEN. DO NOT PANIC. AT THIS POINT SIMPLY CLOSE ITUNES AND RUN REDSNOW 0.9.5.     @renllod No worries friend. All that is happening because you are on either 4.1 or 4.2 firmware. And this is not 4.1 or 4.2 jailbreak video. You need new Redsnow 0.9.6 used either in my 4.1 or 4.1 Jaulbreak video. Try both. Whichever works. That Refsnow will take you out of “iTunes & USB logo” screen. Then install “Ultrasnow” tomorrow if you are an Unlocker. Since tomorrow updated Ultrasnow will be released. Then u can use that phone with any UnOfficial carrier. Both videos are on my channel.

    hey emac2299 i did all the steps but the USB and Itunes icon still pops up. i read your description but im not sure where to open redsnow. the only one i can find is the one u first clicked in the beginning. i downloaded the one with megaupload for windows. Plz helppppppp

    I had that same problem…well try downloading a few different IPSW off the web..thats what i did and one of them finally worked for me.

    I believe i used the iphone1,2_4.0_8A293 restore IPSW
