    i have an x360 phat version with flashed dvd drive installed. if i update, it will probably ruin my flashed dvd drive, will the xbox live force me to update just so i can use the new kinect hardware? im hesitant to buy a kinect, if it means ruining my drive. T_T id rather not. but then again most recent and new games, are all about kenect. ill be outdated.

    i just bought kinect for my xbox360 elite and i cant connect it because the usb and the kinect cable are diffrent its slightly bigger then the usb . so what is the solution for that?

    dude thanks, this helped me alot but for the big one the power adapter where you put it in an outlet i live in norway and i dont know if we have other outlets than you in america so do i need a special outlet for kinect or can i use any?

    @iHackYourTech @iHackYourTech – not really…you can go to the Xbox website, download the decompressed update folder to a usb drive (check that it can connect to the USB port in the xbox), and you are good to go! I just did this and I am using my kinect with an old xbox 360 console.

    @metalsonic71 if you got the slim bundle you don’t get the adaptor to play with old xbox’s but if you get kinect on its own you get the adaptor. If you have the slim then just use that!
