Sergey Brin and Steve Horowitz discuss the availability of the SDK, that it will be open source in the future, and demo applications on the Android platform.

    android is open source and iphone is propietary which mean have lot of possibilities of being stable and lot of apps on it.

    Weird how the very first Android devices were portrait QWERTY devices, but their hasn’t been any yet! I would love to have a 3.0 inch screen with a keyboard. I am tired of the same old touchscreen slab form factor.

    ANDROID OPENSOURCE due to it’s openess CARIER LOCK THEM WITH BLOATWARE who suffers? END USER
    I love android but due to Carrier bloatware I’m starting to hurt it, yes we can root but most user doesn’t even know that then they realize they hate Android!!!!

    Wow. Its not even 3 years since this video and Android 2.2 simply blows everything there! When Gingerbread comes out, I guess Google would have completed a 3 yr cycle with 18 – 20% market share which is phenomenal by any standards.
